Here are a few things you can do in Central Ohio this month:
Bring the family out to what Parents’ Magazine calls the Number One Science Center in the
Country. The Center of Science and Industry areas of focus include Health & Medicine, Energy &
Environment, Technology & Innovation, and Early Childhood Education. The center is open from
Wednesday – Sunday and admission ranges from $7.50 – $26.50.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open seven days a week from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The park
is equipped with food, rides, shops and tours. It’s perfect for the whole family and can be both a
fun and educational experience. General admission ranges from $9.99 to $14.99, and further

April is full of rainy days. Instead of sitting at home in front of the TV, bring your kids out to the
Columbus Museum of Art. The museum is open at 10:00 AM from Tuesday to Saturday. There is
a number of exhibitions as well as plenty of upcoming events for the whole familt.
The Anthony-Thomas Candy Company is located on Arlington Lane in Columbus. Tours are
available by appointment Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM. The tour allows
onlookers to see step-by-step how the chocolate candies are made, and you’re even given a
freshly made chocolate at the end of the tour.
The Franklin Park Conservatory is open daily from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and the price ranges
from $6.00 to $11.00, children under age two are free. Bring the family out to enjoy an enriching
experience inspired by art and culture.
